Plan a Visit to the Beloved Community:
Sunday Worship or Wednesday formation
All Gatherings are Digital at this time

We have one morning service on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. for all ages.
We have an evening service at 5 p.m. that is more intimate and quiet.
See more about each gathering below

900 Brilowski Rd. Stevens Point, WI 54482   (behind Fleet Farm)
Sunday Morning Worship (9:30 a.m.) at the Beloved Community

What should I wear?
  • Clothes! And shoes/sandals! Be comfortable.
  • Some folks will dress up a bit, but most folks wear casual, comfortable clothes
  • Like most places, we ask that folks wear shirt, shoes, and pants (or dress/skirt), please! Shorts are fine too.

How long is the service?
It is usually about one hour long.

Is every Sunday morning service the same?

Some services are more formal and some are more informal. Some mornings we sing with a band in a more contemporary style ,and some morning we are supported by a pianist, with both traditional and more modern hymns. We bring a variety of backgrounds to our community, so our worship reflects the diversity of the gifts of the people who gather while we hope to be hospitable to those who might visit and participate.

Is there food?  Yes!  After the  service, we love to gather after for food and yummies and conversation!

What about the kids? Bring them! They can stay with you in worship (there's a special family section) or there is a nursery for those 4 and under. We expect kids to have the wiggles and giggles; that is all right. The worship space is their space too. We all work on being mindful to help one another hear, see and participate in the gathering!

Which doors do I walk in? Most folks come in through the first set of doors, but we try to have both sets unlocked.  When you come in, you should be greeted and someone will point you to the sanctuary (straight ahead if you come in the first set of doors).

Nursery is down the hallway on your left (in the gathering space/narthex)  and on the left side of the hallway.

Bathrooms are down the hallway on your left (in the gathering space/narthex) and on the right side of the hallway by the water bubblers/drinking fountains.

Where should you sit? Wherever you are comfortable.

Centered Being: Evening Services at 5 p.m.
What are the Centered Being Services in the evening like?
These are contemplative services that are quieter and slower-paced. Sometimes it is prayer, music, meditation; sometimes it is a Labyrinth Walk; sometimes there is Holy Communion or Music and Meditation, and we are experimenting with a Podcast, Conversation and Meditation.

What should I expect? A small group (usually under 10) folks. Usually all adults.  The service is "come as you are" and there are often times of silence, as well as discussion about the Scripture. Incense is usually adding fragrance and there are various chairs/pillows/cushions for seating. It is a small room just off the second set of doors (first set of doors are locked). The service usually lasts 30-45 minutes.
