Cyndi Royer and Dona Warren will be hosting a reading group on Ladder to the Light by Steven Charleston starting February 1.
We've set up an online discussion forum for the book at https://donawarren0.wixsite.com/discussion-forum. The site is live now. Once the discussion forum opens, participants will spend a week on each chapter and share their thoughts in the discussion forum. We'll have a final, culminating discussion at someplace like District 1 in mid-March.
There is no cost, although participants might want to purchase the book. Cyndi ordered her copy through Bound to Happen Books in Stevens Point, which is a great way to support local business! Or you can find it on Amazon via hard copy or an electronic version.
Contact Dona or Cyndi for more details.

Fellowship Hour after 10am Sunday Gathering and Coffee between Services
Hello folks:
Many of us have been enjoying the fellowship times we have had someone bring in goodies and do clean-up/put away after the 10 am gathering on Sundays. But we need folks who will volunteer to support this ministry. If you become a Fellowship minister for the 10 am gathering, it would mean:
1. You would bring goodies/fruit---or whatever you desire---for folks to nosh on.
2. You would then stay and put away items and clean-up at end of Fellowship hour.
Staff will get the coffee made in an urn (so it will be there before end of 8:30 am service as well) and put out cups/dishes, etc.
If you can do this Sunday, or any of these Sundays,
email Sarah and she will get you on the sign-up sheet that is out in the welcome/narthex area. OR you can sign up yourself this Sunday!

Beloved Community Thrift Committee
Seasons Greetings Beloved Community!
I would like to let you know that our gracious leadership team has granted permission to create a Beloved Community Thrift Sale Committee! They have also given the go ahead to hold a thrift sale a few times per year at church. The proceeds from our sales would benefit one of our service organizations -ONE BIG TENT and possibly other organizations. If you would like more information or to join this mission, please contact me at jodi.otto@icloud.com
If you’re not interested in joining the committee, I hope you will consider donating gently used items to sell at our thrift sales.
Thank you so much for your consideration!

Wanna Host a Pop-Up Event?
We are hoping that different members/families/groups will host pop-up events for our Community to gather throughout the year. The event can be pretty much anything that helps us to build community and supports the Way of Love in the world, but let’s stay away from gatherings that are for personal or political gain.
Here’s what you do:
Choose your event, your event’s date, time and place.
Have a contact person and contact person’s information to share
Make sure to include where and when to meet and what is needed (for example: is there a cost?**)
Send this information to Sarah (office@belovedcommunitysp.org) at least 2 weeks before the event. Staff will consult calendar and any appropriate ministry team for conflicts/concerns. Once the event is approved, Staff will then create Social media posts and emails to make sure the word gets out about the community event.
**If you feel there is a cost that should be funded or partially funded by Beloved Community, the cost would have to be approved by elected leadership team or an appropriate ministry who has funds.
