1. In the case of separation at some future date, the Lutherans would keep the property and the Episcopalians will keep their Diocesan Trust Fund. We invest and maintain the building, but if we use Trust Fund to replace gaps in deficit budgets, what would the Episcopalians still have?
a. This is a good point. We do, via the budget, maintain and upkeep the property. We will need to take the same care and make the same investment in our Trust Funds.  This requires that the membership elects leaders who understand this need to care and maintain this income stream---and for members to invest in this income stream that comes from the Trust Fund.
